On January 16 Šiauliai city basketball club „Šiauliai" paid a visit to the Air Base of the Lithuanian Air Force in Šiauliai. The main aim was to meet United States of America Air Force detachment witch is here already for the fourth time.

Basketball club representatives were introduced with air base structure, activities, special gear and equipment, also had a chance to see standing displays of F-15C "Eagle", Lithuanian Air Force transport aircraft C-27J "Spartan".

USA team is the first detachment in Lithuanian Air Force Air Base this year, after four months they will handover NATO air policing mission over three Baltic states to Polish Air Forces witch will continue mission with four fighter jets "MiG-29"
