Ukrainian instructors underwent emergency parachute release training

For the past two weeks military personnel from Ukraine were training at the Division General Stasys Raštikis Lithuanian Armed Forces School in the Emergency Parachute Release Course. The Course students were joined by instructors representing a paratrooper training department in one of Ukraine’s armed forces schools so that they can pick up procedures and teaching methodology conforming to NATO standards and use it to train own troops back in Ukraine.

Even though highly seasoned fighters who carry out risky jumps at night, over water bodies, para-drop cargoes or even vehicles, their current personnel training procedures significantly differ from what they were able to learn during the course at the Parachute Training Centre of the Lithuanian Armed Forces School.
