December 9-10, delegation of Defence Ministry of Belarus paid a visit to the Joint Headquarters of the Lithuanian Armed Forces.
During the visit the guest delegation familiarised with experience of the Lithuanian Armed Forces in multinational operations.
Belarusian delegation took interest in commitment of Lithuanian military personnel to multinational missions in Afghanistan and Iraq, logistic support to units deployed abroad, medical support to military personnel, solutions to logistic and other problems.
It has been a second visit of representatives of Belarus at the Joint Headquarters of the Lithuanian Armed Forces this year. In October delegation headed by Lt Gen Yuri Zhadobin, Defence Minister of Belarus, took interest in Lithuanian troops readiness and participation in multinational operations.
