This Saturday On 8th of February in Radviliškis sport arena friendly baseball competition between four teams formed from 48th Air Expeditionary Group witch is currently carrying United States responsibility for Baltic states air space security in NATO air policing mission, Lithuanian Air Force Air Base personnel and also local baseball club team „Bėgiai".
U.S Air Force team was pleasantly surprised that so popular game in America is also well developed here in Lithuania.

Baseball is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of nine players, who take turns batting and fielding. The offense attempts to score more runs than its opponents by hitting a ball thrown by the pitcher with a bat and moving counter-clockwise around a series of four bases: first, second, third and home plate. A run is scored when the runner advances around the bases and returns to home plate. To successfully play this game indoors some rules had to be slightly adjusted, but local baseball club "Bėgiai" solved this problem professionally.

First time U.S Air Forces met Radviliškis team in 2010 autumn. Then and now winners were Radviliškis baseball club "Bėgiai" witch managed to win over Americans for the second time and scored 17 points in the finals.
