On June 15 Military Representatives to NATO of Estonia, Spain, United States, Poland and Lithuania paid a visit to the Defence Staff of the Lithuanian Armed Forces. The guests were welcomed by Deputy Chief of the Defence Staff for Planning Captain (Navy) Renius Pleškys.
Representatives of the Defence Staff and the NATO Force Integration Unit in Lithuania briefed the guests on security and defence topicalities. Military Representatives to NATO on a visit in Lithuania will observe NATO and partner forces conduct a coastal landing operation dynamic display of multinational naval Exercise BALTOPS 2019 in Nemirseta later in the day.
Lithuania's present Military Representative to the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and the EU is Brig Gen Modestas Petrauskas.
