On January 17 Military Attaché of the Republic of France in Lithuania Lieutenant Colonel Stéphane Loechleiter and his assistant conducted a work visit to the Lithuanian Navy. Lithuanian Navy Commander Captain (Navy) Arūnas Mockus welcomed the guests.
The Military Attaché was briefed on the structure, tasks and assignments of the Lithuanian Navy, and the multinational operations and exercises it takes part in. After lunch, Lt Col Stéphane Loechleiter viewed Lithuanian warships at the Naval Flotilla.
During the visit further cooperation was discussed, the Military Attaché of the Commander of the Navy exchanged commemorative gifts.
