Lithuanian warships conduct drills at the Baltic Sea

On February 24-25 the Aukštaitis (P14) and the Kuršis (M54), vessels of the Lithuanian Navy, with crews took part in naval drills at the Baltic Sea.


Personnel of the Lithuanian Navy monitor, control, protect and are ready to defence the territorial sea, exclusive economic zone, and the continental shelf of the Republic of Lithuania. Units of the Lithuanian Navy also carry out mine/explosive ordnance hunting and sweeping, conduct search and rescue at sea operations, provide support to special operations and ensure safety of navigation.
