Lithuanian Armed Forces began implementation of public procurements through the Central Information System of Public Procurement (CISPP).
On 1 May 2009 Lithuanian Armed Forces announced the first act of procurement that was implemented through the means of CISPP. Competing providers made electronic propositions via CISPP on the terminal of satellite connection, equipment of satellite connection, and services of satellite connection.
The next simplified open contest Lithuanian Armed Forces has put on CISPP concerns procurement of emergency signal transceiver.
