Lithuanian Armed Forces Division Command Post trains in Germany with the U.S V Corps

A Lithuanian Armed Forces Division Command Post formed at the core by the Lithuanian Land Force Headquarters with attached Defence Headquarters, Air Force and the Military Medical Service personnel is training at international Allied Exercise Allied Spirit 23 in Germany until March 10 alongside the U.S V Corps.

“The training is based on a realistic tactical scenario and response to real threats. I encourage troops to aim for interoperability and hone unit command procedures. And as we train side by side with our Allies, we keep in our hearts the brothers-in-arms fighting off the large-scale invasion in Ukraine for a year now,” said Command of the Lithuanian Land Force Brig Gen Artūras Radvilas.

The exercise running at the Grafenwoerh Base facilitates experience exchange and honing tactical actions through interaction among Allied forces. Exercise Allied Spirit 23 trains military personnel from Lithuania, U.S., Germany, Poland, United Kingdom and Romania.
