On March 4 a team of instructors from the Joint Multinational Readiness Centre (JMRC) of the U.S. Army in Europe (USAREUR) paid a visit to the Lithuanian Grand Duke Algirdas Mechanised Infantry Battalion of the Mechanised Infantry Brigade Iron Wolf. The main objective of their trip is to ensure that a company of the Algirdas Battalion with attached logistic units is properly prepared for the international Exercise Combined Resolve II that Germany will host in May.
During the currently ongoing training U.S. instructors are delivering different courses for the personnel of the Algirdas Battalion for them to master and adapt procedures used by the Allies for planning and completing defence, attack and stabilisation of units, and logistic operations at the forthcoming exercise.
