On June 1 at 9.00 a.m. NATO international maritime exercise BALTOPS 2018 in the Baltic Sea will be opened with a pre-sail conference at the Amberton Hotel (Naujoji Sodo str. 1a).
The conference will be opened by Minister of National Defence Raimundas Karoblis and Commander of the U.S. 6th Fleet Vice Admiral Lisa Franchetti. It is a closed event but media representatives will be able to cover the protocol part in the beginning of the event.
9.40 a.m. - a brief media opportunity at Amberton with Minister of National Defence Raimundas Karoblis and Commander of the U.S. 6th Fleet Vice Admiral Lisa Franchetti. Vice Admiral will be in command of the exercise from aboard STRIKEFORNATO USS Mount Whitney.
