On 2011 the 6th of October Lithuanian Air Force Air base personnel had invited Danish Royal Air Force colleagues for the bowling tournament. The tournament was not only a competition, but also was good opportunity for Lithuanian and Danish colleagues make stronger relationship, to discuss about daily life issues. In the end of tournament three best team were awarded with souvenirs: two of them were Lithuanian teams and one Danish representatives.

Danish Royal Air Force detachment currently is in charge of NATO QRA mission over three Baltic States. Danish comrades have started their third mission on 2011 m. the 2nd of September. Danish Air Force has deployed for four months 47 soldiers and 4 fighters F - 16. The commander of the detachment is maj. Kresten Dam Andersen.
