Greetings from Chief of Defence of Lithuania to the Armed Forces of Ukraine
"Dear Commander in Chief of Ukraine, dear troops,
Congratulations to you on Army Day. This day is especially meaningful this year as you stand in defence of your home and people.
The world is repeatedly asking when the victory of Ukraine is coming, where is it. But are you not victorious already. You have stood up and you have contained it. You have returned flags to your cities, hopes and faith to your citizens.
Never stop. We are proud of you. We support you. And so until the victory,” says Chief of Defence of Lithuania Lt Gen Valdemaras Rupšys.
Ukraine celebrates Armed Forces Day on December 6. The Lithuanian and the Ukrainian Armed Forces have a cooperation that lasts for decades in a variety of formats and areas.
