Field Training Exercise Brave Griffin 24-I takes place

On January 15-18 the Lithuanian Armed Forces Lithuanian Great Hetman Jonas Karolis Chodkevičius Infantry Brigade Griffin (Griffin Brigade) will be conducting Field Training Exercise BRAVE GRIFFIN 24-I across territories of Klaipėda, Tauragė, Šilutė, Šilalė regions and municipalities. It will training the Griffin Brigade and its assigned units, the Military Police, the 3rd and 6th Territorial Unis of the National Defence Volunteer Force, and the U.S. Allies.

BRAVE GRIFFIN 24-I is a scheduled brigade-level field training exercise for certification of the ability of the Griffin Brigade to redeploy headquarters and units to designated areas. The exercise will also test unit readiness to respond to alert level changes, alert level procedures, command post deployment, communications trials, and mobility which will be demonstrated in a tactical march.

There will be tactical vehicle traffic and armed military personnel, as well as military training activities, in the areas listed above.
