Commander LANDCOM paid a visit to Lithuania

On February 26-27 Commander of the NATO Allied Land Command (LANDCOM) Lieutenant General Roger Cloutier. He met with Chief of the Defence Staff of the Lithuanian Armed Forces Brigadier General  Mindaugas Steponavičius, Commander of the Lithuanian Land Force Brigadier General Raimundas Vaikšnoras, and commanders of the NATO units deployed in Lithuania. 

The guest discussed the current issues in the Lithuanian Land Force with Commander Land Force Brigadier General Raimundas Vaikšnoras: the COVID-19 situation, combat training of the U.S. rotational battalion deployed in Lithuania, development of the Land Force  command and control element, and other matters. 

On the second day of the visit Commander LANDCOM paid a visit to the Lithuanian Armed Forces Defence Staff and met with Chief of Staff Brigadier General Mindaugas Steponavičius.

Commander LANDCOM also visited the NATO Force Integration Unit and met with Commanders the U.S. rotational battalion and the NATO enhanced Forward Presence Battalion Battle Group Lithuania. 
Commander of the NATO Allied Land Command is on a visit tour, he came to Lithuania from Latvia and proceeded to Poland afterwards.
