On April 14-16 Inspector of the Navy of the Federal Republic of Germany Vice Admiral Jan Christian Kaack and his delegation paid a visit to the Lithuanian Navy.
Vice Admiral familiarized with the infrastructure, capabilities and capability development plans of the Lithuanian Navy, discussed bilateral cooperation and security situation in the Baltic Sea region.
The Lithuanian and the German Navy are bound by many years of cooperation. Germany was an active contributor in forming the BALTRON Squadron, Lithuanian Navy officer training, and other projects.
