September 18, Chief of Defence of Lithuania Maj. Gen. Arvydas Pocius visited Permanent Representation of the Republic of Lithuania to NATO (Brussels, Belgium).
Lithuanian Chief of Defence met with Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to NATO Linas Linkevičius, Military Representative of Lithuania to the EU and NATO Maj. Gen. Vitalijus Vaišnoras, and servicemen of Lithuanian Armed Forces working in Brussels.
During the visit Major General took interest in activities in NATO and the EU military headquarters, and plans for the future. In his turn Lithuanian Chief of Defence shared his view about transformation of Lithuanian Armed Forces and future prospects.
At the moment there are two WOs and ten officers serving in the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Lithuania to NATO.
