An identified type of explosive device detonated near a passing by Lithuanian-led Ghor PRT patrol

 

November 13, at around 8.30 a.m. (Lithuanian time) an identified type of explosive device detonated by one of the vehicles in an escort of Lithuanian peacekeepers coming back to the PRT base from the provincial capital Chaghcharan. The incident took place at around a kilometer's distance from the base of the Lithuanian-led Ghor PRT.

 

Neither personnel nor equipment were harmed in the incident.

 

The incident has been reported to the Afghan National Security Forces. An investigation has been opened to type the explosive device.
