On May 12-18 international Exercise Army Sustainer 2024 took place in the United Kingdom with 20 teams from NATO and partner nations testing theirs skills in a catering competition. Lithuania was represented by servicemembers and civilian staff of the Lithuanian Grand Duke Vytenis General Support Logistics Battalion and Garrison Supply Service of the Logistics Command, as well as professional chef, member of the Lithuanian Riflemen’s Union Gian Luca Demarco. In the final count, the Lithuanian team won the 4th place.

The total of four events comprised the six-day long exercise where their excellence, creativity, teamwork, improvisation and adaptation ability, e.g. in case of battlefield cooking, were recognized.
