On March 26th Commanders of the Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian Air Forces will conduct a meeting at the Air Base of the Lithuanian Air Force in Siauliai. The meeting will be attended by Commander of the Lithuanian Air Force Maj Gen Edvardas Mažeikis, Col Aivars Mezors , Commander of the Latvian Air Force, and Commander of the Estonian Air Force Lt Col Jaak Tarien will address relevant points of the Baltic Air Forces, bilateral and trilateral projects underway, exchange offers on further enhancement of cooperation in the Baltic Air Forces.
It is worth noticing that cooperation of the Baltic Air Forces is particularly close, air personnel of the three states serve at the joint Baltic Command and Reporting Centre in Karmėlava. Plans of joint training programmes and courses are drafted. The Baltic States host Baltic Region Training Events (BRTEs) where allied air forces train alongside air personnel of the Baltic States.

Work meetings of the Baltic Air Force Commanders are organised biannually in the Baltic States on a rotational basis.
