On October 25-27 Command Senior Enlisted Leader of the Armed Forces of Ukraine CSM Oleksandr Kosynskyi is conducting a visit to Lithuania. He met with the Lithuanian Armed Forces Command Sergeant Major CSM Remigijus Katinas and subunit command sergeant majors. Representatives of both countries discussed the ongoing and prospective cooperation on training Ukrainian military personnel at Lithuanian military units.

The guest visited the Lithuanian Land Force Juozas Lukša Training Centre where different types of training is continuously provided to Ukrainian military specialists. The guest familiarized with training syllabuses, discussed possible improvements based on battlefield experience. Provision of yet another training possibility, a staff sergeant course, for Ukrainians NCOs at Juozas Lukša Training Centre was considered. It would ensure expertise and qualification for planning tasks across the Armed Forces of Ukraine. .

CSM O. Kosynskyi met with Ukrainian military students improving their qualification at the Infantry Squad Leader Course and attended graduation ceremony of the 120 mm Mortar Squad Leader Course. Over 400 Ukrainian students will have graduated from the currently effective Lithuanian Land Force Juozas Lukša Training Centre syllabuses by the end of the year: they will apply their new abilities on the battlefield at home and share with their colleagues.

Lithuanian military instructors are training Ukrainian troops not just in Lithuania but also in the United Kingdom and Germany. Alongside NATO Allies, they will complete the training of thousands of Ukrainian military personnel equipping them with basic skills and expertise for battlefield tasks by the end of the year.
